Kellie Baigent, Managing Director

Kellie is a passionate advocate for people with profound disabilities and has worked in the sector for over 20 years. Most of her career has been spent in senior leadership roles leading and supporting teams of direct care workers, case managers and executive team members.

Kellie loves collaborating, designing and thinking outside the box. She believes that there is always a way and through effective communication and partnerships amazing things can happen. Kellie led and designed housing projects for people with high and complex care needs and was instrumental in people moving from nursing home care into well-supported community-based homes.

Her passion for people with complex needs living rich and meaningful lives, close to their loved ones but with independence is a value that she demonstrated and worked on her whole career. During her career in the NFP sector, she designed one of the first group living environments under the NDIS (SDA) in QLD for people who required ongoing and regular nursing care.

She holds a Bachelor of Social Science and postgraduate business qualifications in Philanthropy and not-for-profit studies. She also has training and psychology qualifications.

Her most important role however is that of a Mum to her 3 mid-sized humans. Kindness, co-design and collaboration are values which she lives her life by, and when not working you can find her basking in nature, swimming or on the yoga mat.
