Kellie Baigent, Managing Director

Kellie is a passionate advocate for people with profound disabilities and has worked in the sector for over 20 years. Most of her career has been spent in senior leadership roles leading and supporting teams of direct care workers, case managers and executive team members.

Kellie loves collaborating, designing and thinking outside the box. She believes that there is always a way and through effective communication and partnerships amazing things can happen. Kellie led and designed housing projects for people with high and complex care needs and was instrumental in people moving from nursing home care into well-supported community-based homes.

Her passion for people with complex needs living rich and meaningful lives, close to their loved ones but with independence is a value that she demonstrated and worked on her whole career. During her career in the NFP sector, she designed one of the first group living environments under the NDIS (SDA) in QLD for people who required ongoing and regular nursing care.

She holds a Bachelor of Social Science and postgraduate business qualifications in Philanthropy and not-for-profit studies. She also has training and psychology qualifications.

Her most important role however is that of a Mum to her 3 mid-sized humans. Kindness, co-design and collaboration are values which she lives her life by, and when not working you can find her basking in nature, swimming or on the yoga mat.

Tassiana Godoy, Lead Co-ordinator Complex Care (CN)

Tassiana graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2009 and practised in Brazil mostly in acute care.

She moved to Australia in 2016 and has worked predominately in the disability sector ever since, occasionally working in the acute hospital setting to keep her skills current.

Tassiana is extremely passionate about advocating for people with complex disabilities to ensure they receive high-quality, evidence-based care. Coming from an initial Pediatric Intensive Care background, Tassiana studied Palliative Care at QUT, Brisbane to focus on enhancing end-of-life quality of life for people with disabilities.

Over the years, Tassiana has specialised in conducting initial nursing assessments of NDIS participants, identifying each complex care need and developing a comprehensive Care Plan with the participants and their families for the Support Workers to be guided by. Tassiana strongly advocates for the participants’ voice and choice in determining their needs and how they want to be cared for.

Based on the NDIS Standards of Practice and Skills Descriptors, Tassiana has vast knowledge and experience in planning and providing care for individuals with Tracheostomy, Stoma, Enteral feeding, Diabetes, Severe Dysphagia and Mealtime needs, Wound Care, Complex Bowel Care, Epilepsy, Ventilator Support, Subcutaneous injections and Urinary Catheter Support.

Tassiana strongly believes that implementing a comprehensive Care Plan for individuals with complex disabilities saves lives and reduces the incidence of poor health outcomes (hospital admissions, sepsis and death).

Over the years she’s had the pleasure to be involved in many success stories and this is what drives her to work with individuals with disabilities.

Another area of her interest is supporting individuals with behaviours of concern, working alongside the multidisciplinary team to reduce restrictive practices and for individuals to have rich and inclusive lives.

Even at first glance, things may appear impossible, but collectively, we can make all things possible.
